Daniel Ruark provides the full spectrum of architectural services — assistance with the planning and programming of your project, architectural design and siting, interior design and materials/finishes coordination, investigation/incorporation of sustainable strategies as appropriate and desired, developing reviewing agency documentation and shepherding the project through the permitting process, coordination of engineering consultants, preparation of complete construction documents, assisting with the selection of the General Contractor, overseeing the construction process through completion. Please see the “Process” page for more detailed information in this regard as well as the method of organization upon which your project typically proceeds.
Moreover, as an independently practicing Architect, you as the Client can be assured of Daniel’s personal and complete involvement in your project, that he will be handling every aspect and detail of its design and documentation from inception to completion. You will have his complete commitment to your project and the full benefit of his years of extensive experience and technical knowledge. We will be working together closely in a symbiotic partnership that will make this a unique and very personal project, customized entirely to your needs, requirements, and aspirations. The Client’s involvement can have a lot to offer to the creative process and that is very appealing to me. It has the potential to guide the design into fresh areas of creative thinking and problem-solving, detailing, etc.
Architectural Design is a dynamic process. As the project proceeds, needs and priorities are clarified and new possibilities or alternatives emerge. You, as the Client, shall become at once an integral part of the creative process and kept involved throughout the project’s conceptualization via personal meetings, phone calls, e-mail and other communications.
The quality of the time spent in the early conceptualization period could very well be the most important to the entire project, since it serves to establish the course for all work to follow.
